Bahamas Fast Ferry General Schedule - Departs & returns on dates listed below (Subject to change)
Each adult passenger is allowed one carry-on item (free of charge). Maximum dimensions for a carry-on item is 22 inches x 18 inches x 10 inches (length x width x height), with a maximum weight of 26.5 lbs. / 12 kgs. Additional luggage or luggage exceeding these dimensions and weight will be checked at the cost of $25.00 USD per bag, each way. Oversized items, such as golf clubs, scuba gear, bicycles, etc. can incur a surcharge of $50 each way, depending on weight and size.
*U.S. Customs recently changed the passport requirements for U.S. citizens. All U.S. citizens, as well as passengers from other countries must have a valid passport to travel. U.S. citizens may also use a valid passport card. Birth Certificates will no longer be accepted.
**Rates may be higher during peak season periods, based on availability, class of seating and other factors. Port taxes, Bahamas departure fees and service fees will be added to your final rate before check-out.

All cancellations made 6 days or less prior to departure: 100% Penalty / 0% Account Credit / No Direct Refund Available
All cancellations made 30-7 days prior to departure: 50% Penalty / 50% Account Credit / No Direct Refund Available
All cancellations made 31 days or more prior to departure: 25% Penalty / 75% Account Credit / No Direct Refund Available
Any account credit balance may be used towards a future booking within 12 months of the date of your initial booking or transfered to another traveler when traveling in groups of 10 or more.
All confirmed flights are non-refundable & subject to all rules of the carrier. The carrier may or may not issue a partial credit for booking a future flight. Contact the carrier for more information.
Changes made to confirmed cruise reservations at any time will be assessed a $50.00 fee per person/change.
Travel insurance is highly recommended and available upon request. In most cases, travel insurance covers 100% of your package price should you need to cancel a confirmed reservations for a covered reason and as long as you meet the qualifications and terms of the insurance policy.

Great ride!

We took the Ferry in July 2018, would definitely ride again, plan on taking the family next time. We left on time and arrived on time!!

Too Crowded

We went to Bahamas on a Thursday morning. It was great. Nice cruise.
Got there on time.
But the way back on Sunday. Fairly awful. Waiting room in Bahamas way too crowded. Instructions shouted without a microphone. No one knew what to do. Finally got on the ferry and found a seat. Because of the enormous crowd that needed to board, we left 45 minutes late. So we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale late. Then, we couldn't disembark for another 30 to 45 minutes because Customs wasn't ready for us. (That's what we were told). Lots of confusion when we were finally told we could disembark. Many lines of people converging into one line with no over seer.
Probably won't take the ferry anymore. The return trip is so late (for older passengers).
Don't return on a Sunday.
