COVID-19 & Traveling To The Bahamas

Posted by

We are maintaining constant contact with the ferry operator, hotels in the Bahamas and government officials concerning travel to the Bahamas. The ferry operator is following all of the recommendations of government & international health authorities, such as: World Health Organization, Ministry of Health and the CDC, to name a few, to ensure safe travel services for all passengers.

Prepare to arrive at the port at least 2 hours prior to your departure time due to additional screening measures, such as temperature checks and social distancing guidelines. Face masks / coverings are required for all passengers and crew entering Port Everglades until further notice. Please carefully read the requirements for fully vaccinated travelers and unvaccinated travelers, as well as the requirements for the Bahamas Health Visa below. Also, please note that, at the moment, no COVID test is required to enter the United States from The Bahamas by sea (only by flight).
