Most expensive ferry I've ever taken. More than I'd pay again just for the day trip, but if you can stay longer it might be worth it. Also they really should strive to improve the movement of people and the border/customs procedures. We waited on the ship at BH for 25-30 minutes before we were allowed off. Returning to US we waited 45-60 minutes before being let off the ferry, and then another 20-25 minutes in queue to get through customs. Since your time on the island is already pretty limited by the 2-hr each way transit, these other delays really put a dent in your trip.
Also - the ride FL to BH can be rough, so take the pills if they offer them and if you're at all prone to seasickness or motion sickness.
Otherwise it was a nice trip, friendly staff. The issues are with logistics and policies, not the people themselves - the people were great.

We took the new Bimini ferry 2 weeks ago. The ferry holds about 450 but doesn't seem small at all. it's very clean and new looking, as well as comfortable. It took a little less than 2 hours to reach Bimini. The ferry docks at Resorts World Bimini so it's really convenient to that property, which includes the new Hilton. The Hilton was incredible, as well. Can't wait to stay there next time.
