COVID-19 & Traveling To The Bahamas

Posted by

We are maintaining constant contact with the ferry operator, hotels in the Bahamas and government officials concerning travel to the Bahamas. The ferry operator is following all of the recommendations of government & international health authorities, such as: World Health Organization, Ministry of Health and the CDC, to name a few, to ensure safe travel services for all passengers.

Please prepare to arrive at the port at least 2 hours prior to your departure time due to additional screening measures, such as temperature checks and social distancing guidelines. Face masks / coverings are required for all passengers and crew entering Port Everglades until further notice. The Bahamas also requires proof of vaccination for fully vaccinated travelers or proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR Swab Test that is no more than 3 days old (Bimini) or no more than 5 days old (Grand Bahama Island) upon arrival for anyone over the age of 11. The rapid test will not be accepted. Please see the information below for details.
