Disappointment from start to end. First, not much info at all from this Agency and conflicting info such as pricing for parking (one place says $19 and another $22 per day and nowhere does it disclose there IS A 3% FEE if you don't pay with cash). Our "Travel Documents" which are obtained by a link they send did not include Luggage tags and when I called and they sent a new link the tag was for a different room and when I called the morning of departure to clarify our room # I was told our Room # was the same as on the documents and the info on the luggage tag was just internal info for the ship. WRONG! After waiting in line for the only option of valet parking for at least 30 minutes, we were told that we had to take our luggage with us anyway. Eventually we got through security and the check-in line was VERY long and took over an hour. With all of the waiting our room was ready when we got onboard so we took our luggage to the room # on our Room Key which matched the LUGGAGE TAG we were not happy that it was basically in the hall with the elevators and stairway which was very noisy. We let it be since it was just 1 night and we just wanted to get something to eat and not stand in line anymore. WRONG again, the ONLY food available was at Cheeseburger In Paradise outside at the back of the ship where everyone was standing in line again. Finally, got our food and warm water (dispensers for tea, lemonade, and ice were empty/not working) and sat down to eat and we were told we had to go to our muster station for the drill. We knew that was not going to happen right away so we ate quickly. WYNDHAM, even more disappointing because we expected more. Another case of hurry up and wait in line for an hour with hardly a breeze and no AC anywhere (except in the rooms) for a pre-check-in, only to be told you have to come back at 3 PM and wait in line for keys!!! Now mind you, we were required to disembark the ship and get to the shuttle by 9:30 AM and it was about 30 minute ride to get there so we were at the resort around 10:15/10:30 AM. The availability of food is limited at the resort and they purposely make it complicated so you only get 1 reservation at one of the 3 restaurants available and typically they don't even have 10 tables seated at one time. The first day your only option is the buffet which has limited hours and the beachside bar with burgers, hot dogs, fries and nacho chips is a little scary. We decided to try it for lunch one day and burgers are well done hockey pucks so we asked for a cheese burger and Arlene pointed to warm sliced cheese sitting out [melted cheese like others I seen walking by, nah!?!?!] and the ketchup tray was empty so they just said they were out of ketchup instead of going to get more. Sad. Bar service was only good by a few star employees such as Jamal and a couple others working with him at the main bar (ONLY two bars in the entire place and the beachside bar had bad bar service as well as the bad food service.) We placed an order to purchase bottled water for our room but it was never delivered. ROOMS--ugh... Our "ocean view room" had dirty floors and mold in the shower and a view of the trapeze monstrosity, towel hut, bushes, etc. I was ready to check-out and go elsewhere, however, Ms. Valentine was very understanding and helpful and a true GEM and made things right for us. Although we will never go back, the buffet food was tasty and we enjoyed it when we ate it but we definitely did not want it 3x a day for the 4 days/nights we were there; the Italian restaurant and the International Cafe had wonderful food and service [we did not get to try the mexican restaurant]; pool area was nice but needs more umbrellas for shade; beach area had lots of palm trees, lounge chairs, and beautiful sand; evening entertainment was good, however, music thumping beyond midnight 2 of the 4 nights was unreasonable to us and not relaxing. In our opinion, that particular location has A LOT of work needed to live up to what most expect from Wyndham All-Inclusive Resorts including the attitude/friendliness of staff, options provided, quality and cleanliness, and more.

I took this trip with a few friends over the holidays. We had a blast!!
The cruise was great (especially the live show). The cabins are typical cruise cabins and the ship itself offers standard cruise ship amenities.
The Viva Wyndham Fortuna was great! The all-inclusive feature is the way to go. The food is good but nothing fancy and the drinks are unlimited. They also offered great activities that were also free, such as kayaks, canoe, snorkeling and even free dive lessons. The rooms are basic hotel rooms that have been recently renovated. The beach is GORGEOUS!! I will be going back, soon!
